Saturday:
9:30-10:30 Breakfast with Dad morning at swap n play…. and work day for the pub! As everyone knows, The Oregon Public House will be opening soon next door and they could use our help. Ryan is having a work day for anyone who wants to come and help out with a few projects before work on the floor and bar can begin. Want to lend a hand? Dads: come enjoy some breakfast with your kids, leave them at swap with me, and I will watch the kiddos while the dads work next door. If we need more childcare, I can pull from some friends or dads can rotate helping. This will be a great community morning.

I will have our December calendar up online in a couple days and in the space on the bulletin board. We have some more room for classes if anyone us interested in starting something! I will be doing songs/stories again next week. (Still trying to get my kids well!)

Events coming up:

Dec. 6th
Tuesday, December 6th, 6:00 – 7:30 for a Mama’s Clothes Swap. Bring your weather appropriate woman’s clothes, maternity & nursing wear & anything else you aren’t using that might make another busy mama feel a little more glamorous. It’s also a nice chance for us moms to get to know each other a little better. Bring your kids to play if you like or use it as an excuse to get a little “me” time. I will donate whatever clothes that are left over to a woman’s shelter. I’ll let you know when I figure out which place can use them.
Looking forward to it,
Angela (Melody’s Mom)

Dec. 9th/10th Parent Night Out and morning.Friday Night 5-8pm/Saturday morning 8-11am. Contact. Cassidy for more information. cassidy.richey@gmail.com
Dec. 12th: Parent Education Night: This month we will be doing an informal meeting and taking time to suggest topics/books parents would like to spend more time discussing together. If there is an idea you have, book to suggest, topic of interest, please come and share your ideas. For example, we are thinking of taking some time in January to discuss preschool models since a lot of us are thinking about what type of preschool to explore for the next school year.

Food Buying:
Azure: Orders due by Tuesday 4pm: > Azure is a lot more than bulk beans and rice!! They have everything you would find at a natural food store- cleaning supplies, kid’s snacks, spices, cheese, supplements and the list goes on!!!! The best part is you get to go grocery shopping online after the kids go to bed and pick up your groceries at swap in a box with your name on it. 🙂 You can make a list of ‘favorites’ on their website and your next order is a breeze. Just go to your ‘favorites’ and add it to your cart! Viola! Grocery shopping done in a few minutes. 🙂 Let me know if you have any questions!! Jessica jessica.a.benjamin@gmail.com
