Collect juice boxes, soup, snacks, mac n cheese type foods this month and bring them to The Village Ballroom Sunday, January 29th at 10am. We will pack the lunches together. If you can’t make it on Sunday, but want to donate, email me and I will collect your contributions and store them on the pub side of the building.

Other News/Information:

Sunday, Feb. 5th, we will be hosting another family dance opportunity! Come to the Waggle ‘n Flap!  It’s a family dance party where kids, adults and everyone in between can get down together.  We’ll be
playing all the music that makes your booty shake ’til it can’t shake no more!  And if that isn’t fun enough, there will be costumes for all ages and an art corner to boot.  Join us on February 5th from 3-4pm at the Village Ballroom–700 NE Dekum st. Be on time to be a part of the welcoming circle of fun!  See you there!
Items needed for the event: large blastic bins, fake flowers/reusable decorations, big pillows, costumes/props for all ages. Contact Niko if you have any of these: revampniko@yahoo.com

Our Love and Logic Class will be happening the 4 Sunday afternoons in March, held in the ballroom. The time is still TBA based on ballroom availablilty and our instructor’s schedule. Childcare will take place in the swap n play space downstairs, $5 a class. Free class! Awesome!

Remember is it time to pay member dues for Winter Quarter (January-March). Please leave check or cash payment in the black mailbox by the sign in book, or use paypal on our website. Thanks! If you not longer wish to be a part of swap n play, please email Angela at lelunut@gmail.com.

Sensory Tub:
We will be adding a bin of lentils this week for kids to dig around in with their hands and various other tools. They are in a large rectangular plastic box marked “lentils” that will most likely be placed out of reach on the shelves near the craft supplies. Please encourage kids to keep lentils inside the box during play. A small broom and dust pan will also live in the box for easy cleanup. Spilled lentils can be returned to the box, minus big chunks of floor debris. Please return lentil toys to the box and put the box out of reach again after you are done with it, so we can avoid unexpected lentil explosions.

SURVEY: Please, please, take a moment and answer this 10 question survey about your swap n play experience! I really am looking for some good feedback!
